I saw a post earlier about Extreme Court ruling on protesters

at Family Planning Clinics. I can't seem to locate the post now but it was something about abortion protesters now able to block access to Clinics legally or something along those lines. If this is a new ruling and one that overturns a previous ruling does that mean that there can no longer be "Free Speech Zones"? Bush* came up with the "Free Speech Zones" based upon the ruling that protesters at clinics had to maintain a certain buffer. Does anyone know if that ruling has indeed been overturned?

1. It was an incredibily misleading post....

...and was likely erased.

The ruling was that NOW cannot use the RICO act to sue Operation Rescue and other anti-abortion protesters because the element of finacial gain is not there. The case has gone back and forth for quite a few years now.

Nothing has changed the buffer zones.

On Edit: I want to add that several activist groups and the AFL-CIO support this ruling because the precendent set if it went the other way could be used as a sledgehammer against protesters.

2. I don't think the ruling addressed any of the issues you mentioned

I believe the ruling prevents protestors from being prosecuted under the RICO (organized crime)statutes.

4. Not prosecuted but sued.

RICO has provisions for allowing civil suit to redress grievances.
