Is there a DP/UAE - USS Cole bombing link?

I heard this on Ed Schultz this afternoon. A caller said that DPI (which later merged with DP World) ran the port where the USS Cole bombing occurred in October 2000. My question is: did the UAE own DPI at that time, and did indeed the DPI manage that port?

I've googled it and have not had much luck. Can anyone help? Because if this it true, it's big news, or should be.

The UAE has been cooperating with us on the war on terror since 9/11. Anything before that: ancient history.

Come on...do we really have to repeat every unsubstantiated rumor that the RW neocons plant??? Somebody said that the 9/11 bombers bought the box cutters at Walmart. Maybe Walmart is involved in terrorism too.

I was in a bad signal area for my radio and it was cutting in and out but he didn't sound like a plant. He sounded like he had remembered something and followed it where it led. (not unlike we do here at DU) I didn't get all the info or I would be searching it down myself, to find out if it's real or not.

So, do you know that it's not real?
