there are a few such as the Progressive Caucus within Congress, that don't mirror Republicans in their actions. And these are the kind of Democrats that represent my views, and are the reason I became a Democrat. But unfortunately they don't have much influence over the party in general, because it's been basicly hijacked by the DLC, the DINO's and the Republican lite. And hopefully one day the Progressive Democrats will one day take control of the Party, so Democrats can become a true opposition party again.
