| IMO, there's only 1 logical reason why Bush would insist on the ports deal |
|
which everyone knows is simply not in the best interests of American security. Even the right wing pukes are against Bush on this. For Crists sake, two of the 9-11 hijackers came from the UAE, and the hijackers even got their funds from bank accounts in Dubai. Yet, this jackass still insists on going through with it.
Let's face it. The only one who wants this deal is Bush. Now, we all know his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor, but at the same token, even he has to know that the sell-off of our ports is dead wrong for our country. So why does he insist upon going through with it?
Well could it be that the people from UAE have something big on him that they're holding him hostage to?
What's he so afraid of that might happen if he doesn't go along with this deal? A few leaks by the UAE, perhaps, about a certain something or other?
By agreeing to sell them control of our ports, is this Bush's only way of keeping them silent?
Hey, I'm just saying.

and a hostage to his own hate mongering. Either you are with us or you are against us. Bush always thought that he could decide who was on what side.

| 6. Its a test of power: the the so called unitarian executive... |
|
This administration continues time and again to test its strength upon the public. One issue at a time, slowly, Americans are losing their basic, rights, freedoms, and security. Its like slowly boiling a frog in a pot of water. It happens so gradually the frog doesn't know that its going to be cooked.

He will continue to insist on the deal going forward.
He will make one concession to the critics of the deal. He will insist that the Dubai company goes into partnership with a trustworthy US company before the deal goes forward. Congress will hail this concession as a magnificient compromise.
Naturally the trusted US partner will be Haliburton.

| 10. All he has to sell is that he's "the tough guy in charge" |
|
When he loses that, he'll have nothing. So he's digging in his heels, even though most of America doesn't believe what it says on the package anymore.
