7. I love what Russ did.

I kind of got into an argument earlier with my mom about this whole censure/impeachment issue. She thinks Feingold made a mistake by introducing a motion to censure when it has no chance of getting anywhere in the Republican Congress and she thought it would discourage people and they'll say, "Well, if we can't get him censured, how can we impeach him." I tried to tell her the bloggers and activists won't let this discourage them and we'll keep fighting and change the Congress in November. But when I tried to explain it to her, she just shot me down and acted like I was trying to get her to change her opinion when it wasn't what I was trying to do. I wanted to tell her if that's how she feels, fine, but others don't view it like that. I think what Feingold did was a great thing. Even though it doesn't have any chance of getting anywhere with this Republican Congress, he did it to show people he wants to hold the administration's feet to the fire and that's what it's about, accountability.
