| HELP! Need information in case Feingold Censure bill don't pass....... |
|
....and I'm beginning to think there are some Democrats that will vote against this. Imho that is :puke: s... because Bush deserves censure and impeachment for what he's done much more than Clinton did for lying about sex. OMG, don't get me started on that issue.
Anyway, back to issue at hand. I'm going to assume Democrats are going to vote against this censure bill. That means I, and many others like me, will have a HUGE personal political decision to make from there.
If Democrats vote against this censure bill this country is royally screwed but good. So I would like to know what the rest of you plan to do if this censure bill fails. Will you move out of the country, will you go to a different political party, or do you have something else in mind?? I'm looking for information because, as I said, I'll have some decisions to make.
Thanks for your help :grouphug:

I came to this conclusion when I first heard about it following the news about a bill that will make telling on the president illegal. The latter is more likely to pass then this, no matter how ridiculous that fact is.

| 2. Seems like we've been here a number of times before |

I suppose my answer is I don't expect this to pass to start with - I'll be proud of those who vote for it, and wont' dwell on those who don't. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

| 3. Not a snowball's chance in hell it will pass. Russ knew that |

before he brought it up. Even if every Dem supported it, still wouldn't be enough votes. And even if it did, so what? We need to get the AWOL chimp OUT, not just slapped on the wrist...

Roberts of the Intelligence Committee has refused to investigate the illegal wiretapping and Specter is trying to get a bill through that change FISA to include Bush's illegal wiretapping, therefore exonirating Bush. This is Russ's way to get the issue out and maybe force some hearings. I would say that has worked. Specter has said he will hold Judiciary Hearings to find out what exactly the program is. How can the Congress act if it doesn't even know what the program is? Again I say, Russ is trying to get the issue out in the open, where it can continued to be ignored.
