Says "we are very serious about fiscal responsibility" .... what a joke. He was asked about the problem with no wage growth in the economy, Said "returns to capital come first,,.. we'll see wage growth in 2006.". Never heard that one before but then again if it's part of the trickle down nonsense I would not have heard it because I think that's whooey.
I did not hear any of the CNBC yes men ask about repealing tax cuts as a way to get at the deficit, but of course I would not expect them to. Can't mess with the growing economy, doncha know?
