The Patriot Act;
Warrantless Wiretaps;
The Unified Executive Theory;
Creating and maintaining a network of offshore torture chambers;
Willful lying to garner support for a war that actually had no justification;
Outing a covert agent for partisan political purposes;

It is long past time for Congress to action against the Bush Regime. Censure is only a first step; removal from power should be the ultimate goal.

I signed the petition and called my senators - Durbin and Obama.

Now I want to pull my hair out. My senators don't have a perfect voting record, but they're damned good compared to some others. In the past, their offices have been terrific every time I've called. Now, I'm getting nothing. Neither one is committing either way over the phone. Obama has released a statement about how upset and concerned he is and how he looks forward to the debate. Huh??? Hey, Barack, I love ya', dude, but you haven't been in Washington long enough to know how to talk so much while saying so little.

I called Senators Schumer and Clinton yesterday and their office

staff told me that they had no position as of yet. I then told both staff members that they were either for the Resolution or they were supporting criminal activity!

I have a lot of problems with both of my Dem Senators and in all honesty, each and every Senator, Democratic and Republican should vote for Censure. If not, the ones that reject it are aiding and abetting. They too in my mind would be breaking the law by not defending the Constitution.

Sorry for the rant but had to get it off of my chest.
