A great documentary on HUAC hearings is showing on the Documentary channel

It's a fantastic new channel offered by Dish (channel 197).. It may be offered on other systems too.. Check it out if you have cable or satellite ...

They replay them a few times a day, so you can catch them later if you miss one.. It really makes me sad to know that stuff like this USED to be on TV regularly... but of course we did not have all the nonsense they show now.. On our CBS and NBC afiliates out here they are actually showing , during prime time, crap like Entertainment Tonight and back to back showings of 30 minute crappy sitcoms, because apparently they have cancelled the hour long crappy shows that they started the season with...and have nothing to replace them with.. and they show re-runs every few weeks of shows they DO still have on the air..

My tv has been set to the new doc channel since I discovered they added it.. I have watched docs on such diverse things as.. Hip Hop culture sin Colombia, Anarchism in America, Womens Baseball, and many more..

It's like being a kid in a new candy store:)
