stating that it would be all about 2000.

I didn't vote for Gore in 96 or in 2000, but I would vote for him in 2008. I might even campaign for him in the primaries... Too early to tell.

Numerologically speaking, this is his time ...
He spent 8 years in the House. He spent 8 years in the Senate. He spent 8 years as VP. Took 8 years' sabbatical to rediscover his roots.
Al Gore in '08!!!!!

"...Since his loss, Gore has undergone a resurrection of sorts, shrugging off the consultants and the caution that hampered him during the campaign and -- aided by new distribution technologies -- evolving into perhaps the most articulate, animated, and forceful critic of the Bush administration. And now, with Democrats taking a fresh look at a man they thought they knew and speculation mounting around his ambitions in 2008, it seems that the man much mocked for inventing the Internet is in fact using the direct communication it enables to reinvent himself..."

most likely has a better than good chance to change the way that political campaigns will be covered in the future. He's my man. We just have to convince him that , not only do we need his direction, we must have him, and that this time the times pick the man.

Somehow what the article says about "Internet Activism" makes me feel REALLY GOOD...and I think "after the read" many others here might feel the same thing.

Thank you for the link to the article. It informed me of a few things about our REAL president that I was unaware of. Made me even prouder of how he has conducted himself. With complete dignity and forward thinking. Maybe with Gore running in 2008, we can have a more honest coverage of election politics. And, hopefully we can put a real American in the White House, you know, one who actually has the best interests of ALL Americans at heart. And the whole world, too.

I had a lot of hopes here. I'd love to see Mr. Gore run, but I'm not sure if it will happen. :(
