the next thing we'll be hearing is that Boudreaux's Buttpaste will be bought by Johnson and Johnson and that loveable name will be history. It's good stuff by the way.

That was one of my product lines. I bet the execs are old now and the younger family members just want the $$ and not the business headaches.

I found one brand of toothpaste (gel actually) that Tom's makes that I CAN stand. I can't take the fluoride nor the mint taste that is in most toothpastes.
And now they sell out on the loyal customers they have. I won't be buying it under Colgate nor Palmolive that is for sure. Probably won't even be available.
Good thing I stocked up I guess.

|
That is a disappointment. Now The Body Shop and TOMS of Maine products will be loaded with lots of carcinogenic chemicals and tested on animals.
Yeehaa.

| 21. Great. Try finding ANY of those brands in a local store. |
|
Tom's broke into the distribution chain. It was hippy stuff real people actually had access to. Those other brands may be great substitutes, but only a hard-core nature-boy would know where to find them.
Tom's was a sort of "gateway" natural product. Many people who aren't necessarily whole-grain types liked Tom's, and when you start using a natural product like that, you start questioning why you aren't also buying natural everything.
