I just hit send.. sent her a love note. She is wonderful. Thank god for women, even aging women, who are unafraid of fascist men. No dis to men but Helen is a fighter of another stripe... she doesn't care about pissing off those in power. It's the reason she wasn't called on before the press conference, since 2002. They censored her. Her thoughts weren't part of the PLAN. Her comments get sunk into MEMORY HOLES. Thanks God for Helen Thomas and may I have the courage or is it temerity to walk in her footsteps?

My grandmother died last week, she was the first Dem I ever met. She hated Nixon, she hated Reagan. She later hated Bush senior and Junior. God rest her soul. A smart, well read, learned woman, grew up during the Depression, didn't think it was so Great, never wanted it repeated for her progeny.
