Yes. They do. I have just put up, over the last 2 hours,
about 12 videos from today that represent some excellent floor speeches from House Democrats that, in the main, emphasized that this Republican Congress rubberstamps what Bush wants. After each person spoke on a given topic that was on a poster board, he or she took a large rubber stamp and stamped it by the issue.
Now, as I look to see what piqued people's interest, the Bush Speedos comment outnumbered the views on the Congressional ones 100 to one. I suppose that the joke or the oddity or the sensational may always trump more meat and potatoes videos; maybe watching, for example, Ann Coulter videos is the equivalent of corporate media's "missing white woman" syndrome.
But do remember this when people come up and say "Where are the Dems?". They may not be represented well on a television media that leans right and, when they do get a Dem, gets someone like Joe Biden that will show up anywhere anytime if there's a camera. The others, like these on the videos today, maybe.. GO HOME to their families or maybe they have other things they want to do.. or maybe they aren't invited because of their very determined and pointed views. I don't know.
I do know that the slogan that the Dems don't speak up is just not true. And every one of us that knows it needs to be counteracting it at every turn.
