(Labor) ANTI-WAR MARCH SET FOR SATURDAY



A coalition of Minnesota organizations seeking an end to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq will march and rally Saturday, March 19, the eighth anniversary of U.S. intervention in Iraq.

Participants will gather at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Martin Luther King Community Center, 270 N. Kent St., St. Paul. At 1:30 p.m., they will march to the state Capitol, where a rally is set for 2:15 p.m.

The theme of the event is "Funds for Jobs, Housing, Health Care and Veterans Benefits, Not War! Bring the Troops Home Now!"
