| Please help! Need interview advice |
|
I've applied for an apprentice program with a union & have an interview in two weeks. I really need to do well - if I have to stay at my current job much longer I'm going to go insane. I've already submitted references and scored almost at the max on a placement test. I think the interview will be the final step in joining. From what I've heard, the interview will before a panel of union officials.
I don't have any experience in the trade, but if I'm accepted, I'll go to school through the program as well as get on the job experience. Does anybody have any general advice like what they will be looking for so I don't make a fool of myself?

I don't have any experience with what you are going to go through. Just be yourself and tell the truth is a good rule of thumb.

I've never been good at interviews and really want to make sure I don't screw this up. My current job is driving me crazy.
