| If driving/renting a car in the UK, note the gas prices |
|
Today one US $ equals 49 UK pence.
A liter of diesel (cheaper than Super) costs approx. 1 UK pound. There are approx. 4 liters to a gallon, so the cost is 4 pounds to the gallon, which equates in US $ to roughly $8.00 to the gallon.
A cup of coffee in the UK is about $5.00, a plate of spaghetti $16.00... Whatever you buy there, expect to pay double what you do in the U.S. for everything.
