1. It's an anti-inflammatory ...
... either taken in pill form the night before your chemotherapy, or as part of the chemo drip.

I don't think you'll even notice any effects from taking it.

2. It is a steroid
I had a bad experience with IV Decadron. A very very unpleasant all over body hot pins and needles sensation. VERY intense, but of short duration.

3. Can cause some difficulty sleeping
I recall getting up one night when I couldn't sleep and organized all the earrings in my jewelry box. It just seemed like the thing to do. :shrug:
