2. GOD LORD!

A President McCain will nominate more Justices like Scalia, and Thomas, and Alito, and Roberts! Do all of you Hillary supporters who say they would vote for McCain if Obama is the nominee realize what that means?!!!! A Supreme Court tilted that far to the RIGHT is going to set America back back 75 years.

It means all of you women can kiss your hard-earned reproductive rights goodbye! Roe v. Wade will be one of the first things to go!

It means that all of you environementalists can forget about any meaningful federal legislation to fight global warming.

It means all of you gays and lesbians can put those wedding dresses and wedding vests back in the closet (and you might want to make sure there is enough room for YOU to get back in there, too.)

It means all of you blacks, and hispanics, and asians, can kiss your hard-earned civil rights goodbye! You had better start getting ready to compete on what the republicans call a "level playing field" because affirmative action is going to be overturned . . . and ASAP, too. It is NOT going to happen with "all deliberate speed."

Anyone who has ever been hurt in a medical malpractice case, an employment discrimination case, or a stock holder fruad case, or a products liability case . . . better start "taking responsiblity for their own actions" because the "keys to the courthouse are going to be taken away from you.

This is NOT an exaggeration, folks. This is just a very short, partial list, of the Conservative vision for America that a Supreme Court dominated by Bush and McCain appointees would have in store for US.

The race for the Democratic Nomination is all over but the shouting. You Hillary folks need to take a few weeks to lick your wounds . . . real and imagined . . . and then you need to fall in line and start working to elect a Democratic President.

6. No. Not Quite.

You are right. The Court is already very conservative. But, with the appointment of some liberal justices, the damage can be stopped, and perhaps even undone. Unfortunately, the Court is "at a tipping point." If the GOPers get to appoint one or two more Right Wing zealots to the Court it will lock the Conservative, neo-fascist, agenda into place for the next 50 years.
