| 1. All I can say is... Bush WILL veto it... Bush is an empty suit |
|
and the last thing he wants is to actually have to help vets go on with their lives
After all, they didn't have the good sense to die over there... and lord knows dead heroes are great heroes

| 2. If Bush vetos it then there will be a vote to override it |
|
And if the Republican Congressman vote against that, then they will have to face the voters in November.

Let's see who really supports the troops.
And after we see that, let's see who the troops support.

| 9. Yes, Webb comes across as macho enough to attract many who are |
|
lulled by BushCo's false claims of SECURITY. In other words, Webb emanates the "vision" of the strong leader - but we all know he's not a bat shit crazy Neo-Con. He's truly interested in "supporting the troops."
Yes, IMO, Webb would be an outstanding running mate for Obama and WOULD at least make those "Reagan Democrats" PAUSE before voting for Grampy McSame.

|
He was tough, hardhitting against Bush and McCain and did a great job explaining Democratic positions and Repub failures. Hope we will see much more of him in upcoming months.
