I like Michael Ware, it's the CNN anchorman that I can't stand.
That's why I put the word reporter in quotes.

| 5. This is freaking AWESOME!! Iraq is calling Bush/McSame's bluff: "So you want us to take over huh? |
|
" ... well ok then, it's settled; i.e. we're now taking over the show, and here's how you can help".. basically.
I love this!!

Can they really do that? Just completely take any decision making ability away from us?
Very interesting!
This could shake up the election if they go ahead with it. I'm guessing they would probably try to oust us. That is if 80% truly want us out, and the Parliament follows the will of the people, then maybe. Not if things work there like they work here, though.

| 11. WTF??? Ware saying "jamming them down the throats of the US" like its a bad thing |
|
if they want to go it alone?
Who does HE think WE are?
I'm so confused by this. Ware used to be a decent reporter but in this piece he seems to be saying, and the anchor seems to agree (says ugh at the end) that it would be a horrible thing for Iraq to "got it alone" (jamming it down the throats of the US).
Why the hell shouldn't they go it alone? Isn't that the whole freaking point of this war? For Iraq to go it alone?
Ware drank the koolaide?

oil cartel to establish permanent bases (on OUR dime) so they could control Iraq's oil.
If the Iraqis insist on kicking us out and controlling their own resouces, the whole thing is worse than a wash.
