Her district is filled with right-to-lifers who will vote for anyone who claims to be anti-choice, and she's a true believer so she'll keep getting re-elected until she gets caught doing something sexual. Those folks hate sex. She also might get kicked out if the state party runs a pro-life democrat against her like they have successfully elsewhere. First the state party ran an idiot radio personality against her, which I never understood. Then they ran a nice local lady who lost her child in an abduction, but she was unpolished and unable articulate a plan to win in 2006. She was also pro-choice, which is a deal-breaker in Bachmann's district.

Bachmann was a state rep for many years and had plenty or entertaining gaffes. She rode on the light rail system with a video camera trying to prove no one used it and that those people who clearly were using it weren't paying. The hits will keep on coming from Bachmann until the state party runs a candidate that will appeal in her district. I don't really think she has sex, so my earlier hope seems unlikely.

Always has been, always will be. It doesn't have to be truth, it just has to be "their message". Look at the head cheeses. They lied us into a war, they have their propaganda network who distorts and twists truth to where it is nothing but deception and lies; so it stands to reason this "moral right" would and does lie about everything they feel is in their interest.
