I think it is a damned good time for the states to call a convention and create one, though. Allow for districts to recall Representatives, states to recall Senators and the nation to recall the President and Vice President together.

. . . there is no provision to recall a federal office holder.

The second thing is to point out that Ms. Pelosi won re-nomination to her seat in the 8th CD in June with 90% of the vote.

Third, there is a progressive candidate running as an independent against her in November, but as much as I admire that particular lady, I give her no chance of upsetting Ms. Pelosi.

So Ms. Pelosi will do what she damn pleases and get away with it.

replace Nancy or any other Democratic incumbent in the primary. So stop talking about it. Concentrate all energies on replacing existing republicanTs with progressive Democrats.

Incumbents are golden in the primary. And please don't give me the Leiberman example. He is the example that proves the rule. No Democratic incumbent can be replaced in the primaries. This is a huge problem we need to fix.

13. I am very surprised that people are defending Pelosi here...

She has proven herself to be the weakest, most inffectual speaker in our country's history. NEVER, should ANY member of Congress EVER take impeach off the table for ANY government employee (including SCOTUS justices, DOJ employees, DOD employees), including President and Vice President. Constant vigilence must be employed by every branch, always weary of the the other branches. There is supposed to be tension and some amount of back and forth conflict between the 3 branches. Capitulating to the executive only eradicates the role of Congress and the people of the United States. Nancy Pelosi is a complete disgrace.
