Wish I could be there. I never have been, and very probably never will be.

I have been to a half dozen NEA (National Education Association) National Conventions, and they were absolutely AWESOME!! I heard Hillary talk one time, Al Gore another..and several other big named politicians.

I have the greatest respect for all of these people.

Wish we could divide the US in two and let the neocon/chicken-hawk/fascist-repugs have their half, and we could take ours and let them hate and kill until the cow comes home. But, that's just another bad dream. I guess we have to live with them and hope they pull their heads out of their asses sooner rather than later.
