4. I like it, but...

...since you want feedback:

I'd use a bigger font, so that "shortsighted" (no pun intended) people might read it more easily.
I would also have a voice over. Not everybody can read and not everybody is watching (specially commercials), the sound will reach them.

A general comment, not about the your spot though:
I'm afraid that people who don't approve abortion even in case of rape may be the same kind of people who say/think stuff like "the victim must've done something to deserve being raped" (e.g. going out alone, dressing sexy, drinking, flirting...you know what I mean). It's not only men who think like that, i.e. that rape victims are (partially or entirely) to blame for the crime. This prejudice has also to be tackled.
Talking about prejudice:
My prejudice on these far right religious zealots is that they don't think that opposing abortion in case of rape does affect THEM. After all, no "good woman" gets raped, only the "sinners". Guess they consider having the baby is sort of being penitent.
Just a thought.

5. While it is well done...

I do not like using fear to get votes (too much like GOP), and the pics of the big scary rapists was a bit over the top for me. Good point on the issue, though and keep making this stuff! :)

6. I would go a step further

in that I would say that Palin and McCain have vetoed/voted against programs to help unwed mothers. So not only would your daughter be raped and forced to carry the child to term, there would be no help for her during her pregnancy if McCain/Palin had their way.

As has been mentioned before, a larger font would be helpful, as would audio.

In some states, a rapist has the legal right to visit his children born out of rape.

I did start with a bigger font but I dod not want to cover up the faces of the rapists. I will play with the font some more and put it back up. I really liked doing the ad, it was first one, I hope to learn to use audio, etc in the ads in the future.

I chose those two rapists as they were recently convicted here in IL and both were very brutal. Massey raped a woman multiple times at knife point and threatened to kill her many times. He took her car afterward and wrecked it. Pelo was a cop who used his resources to stalk and rape women. Massey is serving a 92 year sentence and Pelo was sentenced to over 400 years.

Can there be any doubt that abortion is a hard decision, but a decision none the less that must be made by an individual and not Congress???? Who wants the likes of Palin or Liebermann or Inhofe or someone like Tom Delay to be making that decision for you?
