After 9/11 we had one shot at bringing the world together around a cause but Bush and co. blew it. Barack Obama is a second chance to get it right; a second chance we probably don't even deserve. But now that we do, let's not fuck it up! Please god!

would be such a boon to people all over the world. Americans, Brazilians, everyone. It would do so much to erase the negative image of us that's been built up over the past eight years. I think of all these black people everywhere that have suffered so much throughout their history, and for them to see one of their own become president and serving as an inspiration to all of them, well, the mere idea is enough to bring tears to my eyes.
