Obama was in his 20's at this time. I wonder to what extent he knows that he is working within a process that, way back then, had already become intolerably corrupt to even a staid middle-of-the-road institution like the LWV? And to what extent "hope" and "change" can come out a process that was certifiably rotten 20 years ago, and has only become worse since?

I think Obama would be more forceful and aggressive in taking out Bin Laden than McCain has shown. Which is surprising to me given that McCain is the one touting his 'military credentials'. Great Vid!

...backfire when and if the full context of his statement is revealed. It is an unusual but not uncommon occurrence for someone to upload (intentionally or otherwise) tripe like this followed by a supporting "dinner-gong" post for everyone to come and lap it up.

  I'm glad to see most DUers are smarter than that and can spot material like this when it is posted.

the repubs would have said obama doesn't want to go after terrorists, he wants to confer on how we all want to do it instead of letting the military do their job. guess everyone has given mccain a pass on national security issues on both sides. sad really
