We could only hope of a comeback like "Well actually I'm the President of a local bank, dumbass".

How can you assume someone has never heard of Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac? That's basically assuming they've never considered purchasing a home.

for all of the children from mothers who were unfit or unable to care for these babies? I know the Repugs would have these children, who were not adopted for various reasons, in grossly underfunded orphanages, starving, dying, stealing etc, with little or no medical care. Their reprise would be, "They should make it on their own, sink or swim, this is America!"

Lordy, I wanted to smack him. Creepy, old bastard. I wish Oliver had come back with, "I know what they are, Senator." I wonder how the crawly line under the screen went with that one. I also wonder how "my friends" went over again and again and again.

I noticed it when a woman asked him about the climate issue. Or was it the camera angle? I dunno. McCain is an odd one.
