1. You didn't know they had that stuff way back when

2. Would Jesus wear a Rolex?

Would he kill in the name of peace? Would he bomb Iraq? Would he hate some one for being ( insert appropriate descriptive here)? Would he make the poor poorer and the wealthy wealthier? Would he own a gun? Would he imprison and torture the innocent? Would he engage in endless warfare, genocide, oppression,election stealing, lying, hating, killing? I don't know what bible some of these people have been reading, but the Jesus I read about in the gospels is the polar opposite of what fundamentalists preach. He was a humble man. A man of peace. A pacifist. A gentle, wise, kind man, who had love in his heart for all, not just those who believed as he believed, spoke the language he spoke, lived in the country he lived in, worshiped the way he worshiped, looked the way he looked or dressed the way he dressed. I am a huge fan of his work, but those who claim to follow him scare the living hell out of me.

3. The greed mongers are in charge of organized religions.

I don't believe Jesus or the great spirit appointed or anointed them. Religion, like governments and corporations needs to install new thinking leadership.
