Of course Palin's remarks to a gathering of Pittsburg fans went over like a turd in a punchbowl. For someone with a background as a sports reporter, this latest of Palin's pull-the-string Chatty Kathy doll remarks seemed ill-informed to say the very least. The speech writer that unwittingly inserted this into her text probably got an earful.

because they are scared to death of Palin being one heartbeat away.
