1. That first guy who stood up complaining about "Pelosi and the other hooligans" had a good point...

He probably could benefit from a good head examination.

2. I have two observations about this:

1) To the idiots who keep harping on about the Democrats having controlled Congress for the last two years:
- I know I don't need to tell anyone on DU this, but it's not like we had that big of a majority, Certainly not enough to overcome the stubborn Republican resistance to anything and everything on which they don't get their way. But also- it's a well known fact that it takes a lot longer to fix things than it does to fuck them up. It took the Republicans 6 years of unquestioned control- with no interference from the Democrats- to create this disaster, and they talk like we've failed because we couldn't fix it in two?

2) To McCain on the issue of cleaning up the elections:
- .... Hey John, last I checked you had a gentleman by the name of Mike Connell working for your campaign. Maybe you've heard of him, he's being forced to testify in an election-rigging/ voter suppression lawsuit in Ohio as we speak. Maybe you should purge all the election-riggers from your own house before you start pointing fingers at ACORN.

6. I keep running into assholes like this guy out in public.

There usually talking loudly to some other asshole who nods and agrees while food is falling out of their mouth. Lately, I don't even want to discuss shit with them. I'm tempted to punch them in the mouth. Stupidity should be penalized. The stupid fuckers at the next table this weekend were going on and on about how great Sarah Palin is. The one retard was extolling the virtues of her "special needs children" and he kept talking about her kid with "autism". I felt this rage boiling up inside of me and I wanted to tell him, "It's downs syndrome, not autism, you fucking dope. Here's your wonderful candidate, that you pretend to know so much about, and you can't even get your facts straight"! I really hate these fuckers, and the damage they've allowed to happen to this country. I hope I'll feel differently after Tuesday, but the way I'm feeling now, these idiots are really pissing me off.
