What that says is that there are a lot of people in the market that actually believe the rightwing, gloom and doom bullshit, and/or there are those that are in a position to control the market that are doing so just so they can blame it on Obama. Guess what, either way the shit-for-brains SOBs are cutting off their own noses to spite their faces and I hope they lose billions in the process. For "everything"! That's the plan at least. The markets have been down because the investors are dumping stocks they don't think will do well now that Obama is president. They will be buying up stocks they do think will do well. Things will go up and down for sometime, but I am sure that anything that goes bad, and all the crap Bush got us into, will be blamed on Obama by idiots like Fox News, Rush, and all the other hate mongers in the media. They want to keep the right wing wackos worked up, and that's not hard to do since they are pretty much brain dead anyway! :evilgrin:

The market collapsed due to very negative economic news in the past few days. YEs some people are unhappy with the raising in capital gains tax (I think it's too much of a raise and hopefully some middle ground will be reached), but Obama being elected at the same time is a coincidence.

Did you hear that one guy in the clip. The market was surging the days ahead because Wall Street thought McCain was going to win because he was surging...What!!!??? no one thought McCain was going to win. McCain was never surging. The end of the first week and beginning of second week of every month, financial news comes out in regards to the prior month. And October was a very bad month for the economy. Add to that companies reporting more bad news.

Fox has no shame and at this time, the only people who watch it and believe it or the far right lunatics in this country.

I do wish for a rebound soon. My portfolio is horrible right now. In the red for first time in ten years...since i began to invest. All those retirees...Ifeel sorry for them.

Nader has a good idea to tax .10% on futures commodities which is not taxed right now. That alone would raise $500 Billion in one year. I hope Obama would consider that and lower his plan on the capital gains tax.
