See, this is why I don't consider Huckabee a complete right wing atrocity. Did you hear screaming? Insults? No. I don't discount that his personal beliefs are very offensive to me, but he is one of the more 'gentle' Republicans, if there is even such a thing.

Ask the most basic question.

How does a loving gay couple gaining the rights of hospital visitation, joint property, and becoming a beneficiary on an insurance policy hurt Mick Huckabee in any possible way? How could any of that possibly affect him? Why is any of that any of his damn business?

And I have to say, as much as I completely disagree with Huckabee on this issue (and more than a few others), it was nice to listen to two people with utterly opposing thoughts and ideas sit down and have a reasonable conversation with each other.

by having reasonable conversations that include much logic - and Jon used a ton of that. Kudos to him too for bringing up marriage and when it became a 'sacrament', old testament laws, and those that pertain to marriage! Notice the dodge and weave by Huck' when slavery was brought up?!
