Now if he'll only do something about our election system so the guy who gets the most votes in any election can win, he will be a perfect Senator. Hope he gets it now, the reason for audits and a paper trail. It doesn't guarantee a fair election but if the system is like it is in MN, it's pretty hard for the wrong guy to take charge and start a new war and destroy the whole world.

8. The thing about Franken is...

...even in his most outrageous humor like Stewart Smally...there is a huge helping of common sense and keen observation...and believing in that observation as opposed to ignoring what is plainly in front of him. The opposite of an ideologue. He'll be a great Senator I think (may take a year or so....y'know trying to elbow your way into that club...sheesh!)because he represents our group that does NOT make up their own reality!
