These media liberals are always attacking Republicans because they don't "make sense" or "speak coherently". It's not Jindal's fault that he doesn't have a so-called clue. All these liberals can say is how bad he mumbled or how weird his irrelevant personal anecdotes seemed or the fact that he stumbled, lost focus, lost eye contact, and a couple of times Jindal even seemed to be swallowing back his own vomit. Why not be fair and give him credit for all the things he did right, you know, like deliver his speech in English, facing in the general the direction of the camera, or keeping his pants on for the entire duration of his speech. These things aren't easy, you know, and by criminy Bobby Jindal deserves mad props for doing that stuff right.

break. Reaganesque? Reagan was our folksy President and Bush was groomed to be like Reagan. Obama is elegant, a scholar, and a wise presenter. He is inclusive - he doesn't talk up to or down to anyone.

I enjoyed watching them scuffle-shuffle of Republicans defending Republicans. Thanks for posting. I don't know who the female is, but it looks like they don't even attempt to have a balanced panel. (However, they cut off the female, maybe she said something brilliant that was unacceptable on central FOX.)

You're thinking of the actual Reagan. They're thinking of their fantasy Reagan, the legend they've built out of spin and historical revision. To them it is a tremendous compliment to compare Obama with Reagan. It means they conceded Obama is articulate and dramatic.

Now, Bobby Jindal, he was Bushesque--trying to sound folksy while telling ultimately stupid stories, often wildly off-point.

was the eternal frat boy - obnoxious when drinking, back or butt slapping happy, jokester, show off, scared. He was never near Reagan as an actor0President. Bush failed miserably - we were always experiencing the extremes of pretension. The frat boy was what was real.

Listening to Obama is like taking long deep breaths of fresh mountain air.
