| 3. I'm glad Cenk and Bill Maher said what I've been saying in my posts. I really despise the people |
|
who are blaming the homeowners for all this. Even the people on this site who are doing that. Hate 'em. (The right doesn't have an exclusive on being an asshole, they've just cornered most of the market.)

DAy on CNBC... These Klowns Are Wall St. Propagandists pure and simple. This crisis was not caused by your neighbors it was caused by Wall St. which was protected by the mainstream media including CNBC's bunch of hacks! I used to watch Maria Barteromo every morning the other one who is still on there every morning... now add Erin to the mix as Maria is getting a little older... Erin is selling the "sex" in the buying... pushing the retail investor to "buy" into the Corporate SELLING!"
It IS a first class rip off of the American public... We Are Da "SCHMUCKS!" Erin is HOT! Shut up and just show us some LEG Baby! :)
Dollars 2 Donuts CNBC will be pumping the public in the morning to BUY, BUY, BUY... don't miss the opportunity! This was a mkt dead cat bounce and those crdit default SWAPS are still out there and CitiGroup may have made some kind of profit but let's wait and see what the Orzag Bank testing comes up with... Profit as in Madoffese is ALL in how you define it... I have a feeling that there is much "BS" still to come from those institutions that are in the "shitter" or nearly so. :nuke:

|
I'd like to see more people in media pointing that out, too. (Dream on, I know.) For nearly 30 years they've been cruu-u-ushing us, yet they have the audacity to whine when we fight back?

The problem with Maher's interview, though I did not see it in its entirety, did he acknowledge, as Cenk did, that CNBC is in the pocket of the rich and therefore their "objective" opinion is worth squat?

|
They all are there for their salaries, and to keep people watching so their ratings are high and they get more pay.
The whole channel sucks, and all the people on that channel should be let go, given a pink slip, let them join the unemployed, and lose their houses, too.

seems to make a point not to spew partisan rhetoric/RW talking points whereas most of the other female anchors on CNBC imv seem unable to speak three lines without spewing RW garbage. :P

|
Edited on Tue Mar-10-09 10:50 PM by Lucky Luciano
She keeps her opinions to herself for the most part (have not watched the above video yet). Melissa Francis, Michelle Caruso Cabrera - fascists...Larry Kudlow is a psychofascist - I swear I sometimes think he spouts off his ludicrous shit to try to make the markets go down - he must be short big time!
Rebecca Jarvis has not been offensive. Becky Quick I have not watched too much. Santelli is a blowhard, but provides decent color on Treasuries and currencies. Joe Kernan is ok. Mark Haines is a little off - I have seen him very critical of Rush which scores points, but he has been to the right on some occassions. Faber is great - and probably the only one that provides real value added to investors - he is the only one I listen to for something besides breaking news - and that is all CNBC is good for really - breaking news - that is if my Bloomberg terminal doesn't beat them to it (which it usually does).

I do feel Joe's reichousness shines through loud and clear on occasion. As for M, M, and L, when they came on together recently, I proffered to my wife: the two-whores-and-a-pimp show. :D

I'm going to reframe my answer so that your question remains unanswered by me.
when people do that, you must stop them dead in their tracks and ask why they refuse to answer a simple question... or why they are trying to spin some convoluted non sequitur that doesn't answer anything.

A: "You're attacking my daughter because she didn't have an abortion!" - WTF???

I could stomach that no one could see it coming, blah blah blah, if they didn't scream and yell right wing B.S. and parade CEO's and Money Managers on there that they seemingly screened for the 'far rightedness'. Like they pick the guy who is going to push their agenda. No taxes on the rich. Obama is wrong. If they could just quit thinking they now have the answers, and everyone on the show and everyone they bring on has them, and Obama's aren't working (not even 2 months into it).
CNBC did manage to find a large group of hotties (check out the now defunct CNBCsucks.com)that can talk. Unfortunately they aren't journalists, they know a bit about the market, and they are hoity toity well to do snobs. Look up Maria Bartiromo's Bio, she's a good example.
I have to listen to them at work all day. It kills me. I was home today with my 9mo. old boy, who has an ear infection. I decided I was going to watch Bloomberg instead. Hallelujah! It was like ray of light. Granted the market was up, but I was hard pressed to find someone on there, either anchor or guest, that was there pushing an agenda, badmouthing Obama, or even stating that they knew how to get us out of it. IT WAS FINANCIAL NEWS!!!!! Unbelievable. Thank you Bloomberg Television.
