| Your Weekly Address From Air Force One - President Obama |
|
Wow - was wondering if there would be one with him being sick with a cold, abroad and busy - but there ya go - a good sign of his theme of 'persistence'. Gotta love it. If there are any issues with the video, it was playable here: http://www.youtube.com/user/whitehouseBut appears to be working again -

Making clear exactly what he has done and why. I only wish the knuckle-draggers who only listen to right wing shills would take the time to actually listen to these addresses themselves.

| 2. Wow. My critique--he's improved by leaps and bounds. |

I'm very surprised, and pleased, frankly.
He has a tendency to (unintentionally) berate and hector when he gives a speech in a "small room" and there's nothing smaller than a guy with a video camera in the office of AF1. That said, he did VERY WELL in that presentation.
They clearly had to redo one bit with the "close-up" and splice that in, but even that part was grand. He looked VERY poised.
What I noticed is that he modulated his tone, he kept his voice CONVERSATIONAL (which was a good trick given the engines in the background) and he maintained eye contact with the camera lens (a hard thing to do for some people).
If he keeps this up he'll be better able to prosecute his agenda and get his message out. Next lesson should be on using the hands to good effect--he still seems a bit stiff in that regard (but it's a small desk so I'll cut him some slack).
Good job, President Obama! It's a nice change from Bush, who would just use the tape recorder and not record a moving image (because fat cats would be invited to the White House to watch Bush tape the thing--over, and over, and over again, when he screwed up). Of course, everyone in the room was a donor, such a shock...

| 4. I really like watching these. |

He starts out again addressing climate change. I have noticed he has hammered this issue quite abit lately. I don't know why every time he does it....it surprises me.
When he reviews his week and the things he has done. I wonder how a man can do all of that. I know much organization goes into it. The message he projects is one of accomplishments.
Thank you for posting!!
