| 3. Me too, I think we can beat him in 2010 though. |
|
He won by a very slim margin in 2006. Democratic identification is pretty high now, if it stays that way and we get a good candidate there's a chance we could win the gubernatorial race. Unfortunately I have yet to see any candidates actually announcing their runs yet. Maybe they're waiting to see if Pawlenty decides to drop out and focus on running for prez in '12?

| 2. It would appear that Pawlenty (R) is delaying |
|
putting Al Franken in as the Democrat Senator from Minnesota. That will help the republicans in the Senate for the short turn.

| 6. Sounds like he thinks he needs a few more months..... |
|
of obstruction to give him street cred among Republican primary voters, but not so long as to alienate general election voters, especially if he runs for president in 2012. Who the hell is he kidding? He's not hard-right enough -- no way will Republicans nominate him for president.

Interviewer: If this three judge panel tomorrow after counting these ballots says that Norm Coleman has the lead, will you sign the election certificate that makes him Senator Norm Coleman?
Pawlenty: Yes.
