1. i'm not familiar w/ hartmann, but i like his style.

he is smart, knows his topics, and, most important, enjoys debating others without insulting them.
on the other hand, except for tweety-bird, chris mathews, i am completely fed-up with the msnbc format of only having guests on who agree with the host - and it's completely scripted to boot! fucking boring!
how come hartmann does not have his own tv show?

I just discovered this guy too, thanks to DU, and I love him. Even when I disagree with him I can still at least respect him. I guess Rachel Maddow is the only person close to his temperament but she also only has people on she agrees with.
