I'll take roasted cashews over a damn banana any old day.
By the way, that "perfect, god designed fruit" is the Cavendish, a variety that has been maniuplated far away from its original form and which will be extinct in our lifetime.
Real bananas are about the length of an index finger with thick skin and very small fuit that can be violet, gold and pink as well as pale yellow.

The yellow fruit you get at the supermarket has about as much in common with its original wild ancestor from 10,000 yrs ago as a Pekineses does with a gray wolf.
