Have to confront how he let those who will destroy him off the hook. He will have no one but himself to blame.
Because when he lets Bush/Cheney anbd Rove off the hook, they will continue their work against We the People, and against Him as the Presdient of We the People.

In the Area of 9/11. We've investigated everyone with even the most flimsiest and indirect ties to Osama bin Laden and Al Qaida. Except Bush and his very direct connections and even business dealing with the Bin Ladens. Yes hindsight is 20/20. That's what allows most crimes to be solved. But when you consider that 9/11 was used as a springboard to Iraq and a huge pay day for Administration officials and cronies. Allowing a commission to investigate everyone except the President. This is just the height of incompetence.
