Environmentalists say clean coal is a myth, and the problem with ethanol is that the process of producing it as a biofuel is very dirty and polluting, wiping out the benefits of using ethanol as a clean alternative to fuel our cars. Corn and coal are two of the worst polluting industries in the country so whenever I hear Obama promoting them as a clean source of energy I laugh and think he sounds like a paid lobbyist for the coal and corn industry. I have to question the new President's commitment to clean energy because it doesn't seem very sincere at this point.
