2. It's worse than Cenk said as far as ratings

The ratings are based not only on the time slot, it is also based on age, the type of program such as R&R, Talk, Soul, etc. and each is broken down. So this host is 14th in talk shows, not all types of shows.

So for a failing show Severin gets 1 million dollars plus bonuses. Spread throughout our society, this explains a lot about the persistence of the right wing message, how it doesn't go into the loony bin where it belongs. Millions of commuters stuck in their cars getting fed this shit into their brains.
