Senate Leadership on Thursday delayed a vote on healthcare until September. Sens. Chris Dodd, Tom Carper, and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius comment on the bill's progress.

7. I like to think that E.J. Dionne is correct dispite repugs....

....attempts to drag this out and make the prez lose this fight. As they mentioned in this vid, its a heavy lift. OK. Obama says he wants to get this right. OK. But what about a story thats on Buzzflash now that says "bypass the Energy & ? Committee" and get this thing rolling for a vote? And what about the premise of making the Senate Committee's stay in session? As I posted previously, Biden is President of Senate. I believe he has the power over the Senate--meaning keeping them in session till they finish. We can't go on our vacation if we don't finish our jobs. The Senate is no different. And thats where I agree with above poster Reid is a whimp. No mention from him of staying in session. If this meant anything to him, he would be fighting for the prez. I kinda feel he doesn't give a s***. Therefore, I plan on working for his opponent/challenger when I find out who that is. He is up for re-election next year. Reid is not a leader in any sense of the word. Personally, I would like to see Bernie Sanders in charge. But thats my opine. And finally, I'm really getting depressed about how this is going. But perhaps I watch too much of Ed Show because he speaks my language.

8. I sometimes forget i am Canadian...

because i read so much US politics i some times feel i am american and getting screwed by this healthcare thing...thank god i live in a country that has single payer healthcare (AMAZING birthright!) . I agree Bernie Sanders would be my ideal for the position...Reid has to go!
