When asked to comment on Sarah Palin's resignation as Governor of Alaska, exactly one week after she stepped down, Sen. John McCain says he "respect(s) the decision she made," adding it was "clearly the best decision." Also, he again says it's too early to say whether he'd endorse Palin if she ran in 2012

He talks about her now like she is his ex-wife where the marraige resulted in a child. He tries to keep the conversation "civil" for the child's sake but its apparent that the words are phony. I bet that he wishes he was back in the Hanoi Hilton when he gets these kinds of questions.

I'm pretty sure that about a week after selecting her, McCain would have defended her quitting as Republican VP candidate as well.

I remember a time when I respect McCain politically. No more. Not after the Palin stunt he pulled. It's funny. He might have stood a chance in the election. His mistake as it is now to back her up.
