1. Any society that needs multipliers like that has lost its authority from the people.

If a society needs deterrent weapons that make security forces have a 1 to 1000 ratio of control where 1 person can disperse 1000, then you have to look at why it is needed.

In theory a just society would not need that kind of multiplier, and allowing such a thing to exist makes it easier for a society that would need such a thing, like a despotic regime, to seize or maintain power.

Such multipliers used against civilian protests should not be allowed and should be a significant indication of problems in a society.

In the spirit of the second amendment, if such devices are used by law enforcement then all citizens should be given the same devices to protect a society from despotism.
