| 1. I love all the (R) names in the mix - momentum is moving, slowly but surely |
|
Sure sounds bi-partisan enough for me - let's not worry about Snowe - we got bigger names already on board!

I am glad obama is talking, but he is speaking the same ole friendly, bi-partisan, and down right wimpy way.
The time for worrying about republicans and bi-partisanship is over.
Its time to stand firm and speak like greyson has been speaking.
This healthcare issue calls for a strong, "get on board, or get the hell out of the way" stance.
Obama must stand up and let everyone know that the ONLY way to reform this mess is with a strong public option that everyone can join if they want to. Not a watered down public option that the majority of us will not be eligible for.
What the hell good is a "public option" if the majority of the "public" don't have the "option" to join it???
Most of us have insurance from our employers that has high deductibles and co-pays. And the majority of the over 50% of bankruptcys in this country caused by healthcare cost were people WITH INSURANCE.
So how does reform help us if we already have inadequate insurance thru our employers and we are not eligible for the public option for that reason?
We should be going for universal healthcare here. not a public option. As obama said, this is a very important time in history because we are finally talking healthcare reform. So why don't we take advantage of this moment and really fix the issue and start a universal healthcare system?

confounds his enemies (and baffles some of his "admirers") by GETTING THINGS DONE! On an unrelated note, on that YouTube page is the complete "Taxi Driver" video with Robert DeNiro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTuo98qCXUU&feature=featured ENJOY! pnorman

he will talk Bi-partisan all the way, as the Repukes simply remove themselves from the equation and we will have a health care bill we really need. Course I am hoping, however tell you what if Public option is not in there. I will simply vote repubilcan. If we are going to shoot the country in the head I would rather do it openly, than this constant hoping our Democrats will grow a set.

I think you have just verbalized the feeling of a lot of citizens as well as Grayson has with this statement.
Brilliant! :yourock:

As someone who supported the President's public option...and the way I saw it moving and the actions of the BlueDogs I thought this was the end. The blue dogs are gonna fuck him over. So I'm surprised by the change in momentum.
