Interesting video from NARAL Pro-Choice NY. They are addressing the fact that Ford may run against pro-choice Kristin Gillibrand, a fellow Democrat.

Pro-choice groups in that area have weighed in on his views toward women and gays.

In the year that she has been in the US Senate, Senator Gillibrand has been an outspoken and passionate supporter of every single piece of pro-LGBT legislation that currently exists at the federal level. She has often led the charge in the Senate for calling for the repeal of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.” She became the first US Senator from New York to support marriage equality, and she actively lobbied members of the New York State Senate to support the marriage equality bill before it received a vote on Dec. 2, 2009.

14. I'm Not a Big Fan of Ford

I've seen him on a lot of shows, and the truth is, the guy is very centrist, even right-of-center. I think he's a free trader too.


We've really got to rid ourselves of the people in our government that in a time of 20 percent unemployment, send American jobs away, as a regular matter of course, and claim that there is nothing to be done.

There's plenty we can do, starting with tariffs that equalize prices, incentives for companies to keep jobs here, and strengthening unions, both here at home, and abroad.
