must be very troubling for him that the Republicans don't want to give a single vote.
Imagine how his weak position looks on other issues like banking regulation and war. He seems to be getting steamrolled and Cheney and Bush gave him so much power if he would only use it.
Why is he trying to frustrate us so, seems like he is going out of his way. Anyone who doesn't know the other side isn't even in the game hasn't been paying attention. The President has so many better things to do than hold hands with Republicans.
Our President is empowering Republican efforts to frustrate change and progress at the most basic level. While the President and the Republican party play games, this country is hurting and there is only so much time in a year to waste.
