These accents are not "Southern" accents...they are "HILLBILLY" accents. A proper southern accent sounds rather elegant and refined.

By the way, it's no stereotype that the southern states have the highest national rates of obesity and self-imposed diabetes. That's fact.

Like it's their fault the universal hillbilly accent is the southern one. Blame Jeff Foxworthy and everyone else. Sorry the Southern Hillbilly accent sounds the most ignorant.

But if you live down there, you should know the majority of people don't sound like that. Just the 30% or so who are Teapartiers. You should also know that obesity and dietary ignorance are at their worst in Southern states.

Seriously, you need to lighten up. How do you turn on the tv without being offended?

The whole problem with the Teaparty folks is their disconnect from reality. They deny global warming, evolution and all sorts of other scientific facts. Same thing with becoming educated about diet. They are PRIDEFUL of eating dangerous foods, it's all about the mentality.

Sorry you didn't make the connection. Haven't you seen these people? It's good they march on Washington because it's the only exercise they get!
