He's a write in candidate for Senate and he's running ads on the radio. The radio station saz they have to run them. But we know that's not true because both the radio and tv have not ran left wing ads in the last decade.

11. My first thought too. But as a jazz musician the original Glen Miller wouldn't be racist.

There's a great book called "The History of Hip" about the way Jewish and black urban life in the early century created jazz and the modern sense of coolness, which went from meaning detached and in control to meaning with it and just a bit antiauthority. Glen Miller was right in the middle of that and would never have been a hater. Plus, as a WW2 vet, he knew exactly who he was fighting when he died in Europe.

This modern "Glen Miller" sounds like all he leads is a band of neanderthals.

8. That station is as right wing crazy as they come

There is an obvious reason Miller chose it to run his ads and no other area stations. The last time I tuned this station in I heard the hosts of a local right wing talk show call Obama a Muslim and Oprah a pig.

And the show that's airing the ads is significant too. It's hosted by a crazy lady who spends most of her airtime criticizing the president.

They might be forced by law to air the ads but they do have the audience for them. Watching them wring their hands and say 'oh poor us' is comical.
